This new mountain treehouse at the forest's edge overlooks the river's bend. At this stunning location, one of our highest priorities has been to maximize interaction with nature. Together, our clients and our master builder, Adam Laufer, decided to incorporate these stunning, huge accordion-fold glass doors in order to accomplish just that.
"The stout timber-framed structure we created enables the front of the building to be almost entirely wide open, supported by massive beams," explains Adam. “I love how this treehouse feels fully woven into its external natural environment."
The resulting view is spectacular. Even in winter, you feel the comfort and warmth inside this cozy, handcrafted nest, but also the exhilaration of communing fully with the wildness of the river and sky.
