“Our treehouse really morphed throughout the process. The more we got into it, the more I realized that I would like to do more with it.”
In the visioning stage, Connie considered the logistics of trekking to the house to use the restroom during an overnight in the treehouse. “I thought, okay, well, we will need a bathroom. And so it kind of grew like that; it definitely did not start out as involved as it became.” Once plumbing was decided on, the design folded in a bar sink for the kitchenette and a beautiful copper soaking tub in addition to toilet and wash sink.
Connie smiles as she ponders the warm memories she’s already created with her friends and family in the treehouse. “I'm very grateful that it did evolve that way. It’s just right for us.”
