Asheville Treehouse Builder Tells All: What's the first step to working with us?
You’re ready to move forward with a restorative, beautiful, artisan tree retreat of your own—one that’s handcrafted especially for you and the natural space on your land. What’s next?
We invite you to set up a consultation with treehouse master crafter, Adam Laufer. When you first call World Treehouses or fill out an interest form, chances are you’ll speak to Adam’s wife and business partner, Erin Everett. Erin will answer any preliminary questions you have about your project and schedule a time for Adam to visit your property.
Adam’s on-site consultation will help to identify the best location for your custom treehouse based on tree health, size, type, and configuration. He’ll do a tree climb for best assessment. You’ll have a chance to further understand our process. Adam will begin to get to know you, as well as some other very important things: your trees, your land, and the needs and preferences of your loved ones.
A consultation with a consulting arborist is always advised. We work with a professional whom we recommend. The arborist will ensure that the trees selected for your project site are in strong, healthy condition for constructing your true, tree-attached treehouse and any other tree-constructed projects you’d like us to craft.
To learn about the continuing process of treehouse project realization, read the Our Process page of our website.
To take that first step, reach out to us now—we’re excited to hear from you!
“The treehouse is just such a peaceful place. [Lead builder] Adam and I talked about the intention, which is one of the things I loved about the process. And he later told me, ‘Even as we are building this and putting it together, we're thinking of you and we're creating this special place for you.’” ~ Connie, World Treehouses client
