WNC tree house builders: "It's a sad thing to have a world where we're not connecting. That's why I like building treehouses."

“It’s a sad thing to me to have a world where we’re not connecting. That’s why I like the treehouses: I don’t know what I’m going to be able to create until I get there, until I see the trees and the landscape. So I’m more working with what the trees are offering me than coming up with my own idea. Even when I do come up with an idea, it has to fit what is there.” So says World Treehouses founder and lead builder, Adam Laufer, in our new cover story in the May issue of Capital At Play magazine.

I don’t know what I’m going to be able to create until I get there, until I see the trees and the landscape. So I’m more working with what the trees are offering me than coming up with my own idea.
