It's great to either show them how to do something or watch them get excited about the process of building."
For their tree-retreat, Connie and her teenage daughters enthusiastically lent a helping hand. "Adam had my daughters helping out, oiling wood and other stuff," Connie reflects. "He asked them, 'You guys want to help out a little bit?'" They were very much on board with the idea.
"When the team was cutting out pieces of wood, Adam taught one of my daughters how to use a jigsaw. They love doing stuff like that; they love helping out. It was so generous of Adam to be willing to educate the girls and allow them to be a part of the effort."
