We all experience the loss of a loved one sometime in our lives. How does one find space to grieve, recover and face life anew? For Connie and her daughters, the answer included a treehouse built by Adam Laufer and his team of expert hand-craft builders.
"We have a cabin right here (on the property), but it has refrigerators and air conditioning and all the stuff, and we don't even realize how that affects our daily lives," Connie says.
"I wanted a place that we could go. I mean, the treehouse has electricity, lights, but no refrigerator or other things.
"When we settle into the treehouse, everybody is automatically at peace. First of all, the craftsmanship...you just sit down and look around. It's hard for me even to read books in there sometimes because I just want to sit and look around. Everyone who sees it is just amazed at the craftsmanship. They did such a beautiful job."
